How I can help
Bringing YOU back into focus.
We may notice the way we used to cope with stress is no longer working. We long to move away from survival mode but aren’t sure where to begin. Accessing your authentic Self, with an increase in clarity, confidence, and care, I offer a safe and confidential space for you to process your emotions and traumas, and trust in your innate ability to heal and love yourself well.
Individual Therapy - How We Can Begin
We meet, just the two of us, to speak about how to manage unhelpful thinking patterns, emotions and habits that could be causing you discomfort and impacting your sense of self. We can begin to explore where you feel stuck and choose to define your personal goals. With kindness, I may gently nudge you to help keep you on track, keep you motivated and be accountable for your healing journey. With extensive knowledge, I can educate you in areas of personal interest tied to your goals. The hope is to help you adapt new habits and strategies to increase your well being and mental health.
Areas of Focus
Trauma therapy, and my approach, can help you reduce stress, get clarity on parts of you you may not understand, release trauma from your body, and increase self-confidence. You may learn to cope and manage with difficult emotions, by learning about nervous system regulation, learn and build understanding why trauma is toxic to the mind and body, and collaborating on the tools that you believe will help fix the areas of repair needed in your life.
I’m particularly interested in helping individuals with their recovery from acute trauma, developmental trauma, complex PTSD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), other relational issues and abuse, as well as the following concerns:
-
Chronic fatigue
-
Emotional Dysregulation
-
Dissociation or numbness

-
